Mary Murphy (née O’Brien) of Clonlara and surrounding areas is deeply mourned, yet her memory lives on in the countless lives she touched. Mary Murphy (born O’Brien) lived in Ruanard, Clonlara, Co. Clare, and previously resided on Keane Street, Garryowen, with ties to Tulla Electronics. She passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Michael, as well as her sister Ita and brothers Brendan and John. She will be sadly missed by her devoted husband, Patrick (Pat); her daughter Laura; her son Kyle; her grandson Kaleb; her son-in-law James; her daughter-in-law Kate; and her extended family, including brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours.

Reposing details: Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Thursday, December 18, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Funeral arrangements: The funeral will depart from Cross’s on Friday, December 19, to St. John’s Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for a Requiem Mass at 11:00 am, followed by a service at Shannon Crematorium at 1:00 pm.
Requests: Family flowers only. Donations may be made to St. Munchin’s Community Centre.
