From Workout to Life Transformation: Baqar's Premier League 2025 Inspires the GCC to Train Harder, Think Sharper & Live Better
A global fitness movement with strong GCC roots has united over 180 participants across continents, igniting a revolution in wellness.
Baqar's Premier League 2025 illuminated Imperial Towers, Tardeo, bringing together a diverse group of individuals from India, the Middle East, GCC, Asia, America, and Europe, both in-person and virtually. The high-energy Cardio Night showcased a range of formats, including spinning, strength, core, agility, and flexibility workouts. This regional fitness initiative has blossomed into a multi-country wellness movement, with this edition featuring a thrilling competition between Team Spartans and Team Gladiators.
Led by the renowned fitness coach Baqar Nasser, celebrated across India and the UAE, the event attracted participants of all ages, from 9 to 79, proving that movement knows no age limits. The energy was amplified by the presence of DJ Akbar Sami and Actor Arjun Bijlani, who drove rhythm-based endurance sets, pushing participants beyond their comfort zones and into new realms of capability.
Baqar, a champion of accessible training across the GCC, designs programs tailored for individuals with various health conditions, including asthma, diabetes, cancer recovery, PCOD, hormonal imbalance, mobility challenges, and lifestyle-linked issues. Recognized as the 'Fitness Doctor' by The Economic Times in 2018, Baqar is also the Director at Topspin India Healthcare, pioneering scientific, results-driven training systems.
His signature programs have fostered thriving global communities, particularly across the UAE & GCC, including:
- Bike with Baqar – A virtual cycling format featuring endurance and hill sessions, burning up to 900 kcal per workout, beloved by Middle East riders.
- Solo Sweat Challenge – A strength and mobility routine burning up to 700 kcal per session, actively practiced by groups across India and the GCC.
This year's edition held a special emotional resonance, connecting Mumbai to Dubai, across continents, and back to its roots.
"Mumbai gave me my foundation, but Dubai and the GCC helped shape this into a global fitness family," said Baqar Nasser. "Watching participants of all ages move together from the UAE to India and beyond proves that fitness connects us beyond geography. Our mission is simple — stronger bodies, sharper minds, and better lives."
The event was co-hosted with The Imperial Club by The Leela, aligning with a shared vision for holistic wellness and lifestyle-led fitness.
